Hartogs' Go National with Their Reconstruction Mission!

We are so thrilled that the Hartogs' local segment on Fox has been picked up by other major news affiliates nationwide. Also, it has made it to prestigious newspapers like the Miami Herald. This is no way is a "toot our own horn" blog but to share that the Michelle's journey had a silver lining. Her willingness to share her story, Dr. Hartog's passion to know every detail regarding fat grafting will help breast cancer survivors learn and make educated decisions regarding their reconstruction. Now they will know there are OPTIONS, they can have beautiful breasts again (maybe that's not important on a physical level but most likely on an emotional level) and they don't have to endure extreme surgical trauma again.

As a 39 year old woman, I don't know why lies ahead for me health wise. Naturally, I hope for the best and because of Michelle started mammograms at 38 even though I have no prior family history. But what I do know or what I can share with someone who may be diagnosed with breast cancer is that there is hope, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and they CAN/WILL feel like a woman again. It puts survivors back in the driver seat and kicks cancer out of the car!

We salute all you warriors who have battled, currently battling, may have to battle or help someone through the process! Please use us a resource anytime because we never want anyone to go through this experience alone.
