One of the highlights of my recent trip to Europe where I attended the 2nd annual meeting of the International Society for Plastic Regenerative Surgery (ISPRES) was spending 2 days with Dr. Gino Rigotti, one of the pioneers of fat grafting for breast reconstruction, at his clinic in Verona. There I got to observe over a dozen cases of breast reconstruction with fat transfer and see the amazing results he is able to achieve. It was wonderful to observe first hand the techniques he has developed, so I can continue to improve my own techniques and the results I am able to achieve for my own patients. We also got to spend some enjoyable social time together later in the week at dinner in Berlin.
